تُخلط التركيبة جيداً من الأعلى والأسفل بشكل متساوٍ لمدة ثلاثين ثانية ويهز المستحضر عمودياً لضمان الامتزاج الكامل ثم يُدلك المزيج للحصول على قوام يشبه العجين ويُترك لمدة خمس عشرة ثانية قبل التطبيق وبعدها يُوزع بالتساوي باستخدام أداة المسح من الداخل إلى الخارج على الخدين والجبين والأنف والذقن مع وضع طبقة سميكة عند الحواف لسهولة إزالته ويُترك على البشرة لمدة تتراوح بين عشر إلى خمس عشرة دقيقة ثم يُشطف جيداً بالماء الفاتر
